The cake
Tres leches is one of the best-loved cakes of Latin America. The sponge soaks up the three milks, so every bite is soft, cool and creamy, but the cake still holds its shape on the plate.
Claudia grew up in a kitchen full of French, Italian and Venezuelan cooking. Her tres leches gourmet cake comes from that kitchen. She finishes it with whipped cream and fresh strawberries and blueberries.
It is a good cake for birthdays, family dinners and any day that needs something sweet.
